Terms of Use
Last updated 9 September 2026.
1. What this site is
BestHonestPro is an information and referral service. We publish cost information and hiring guidance, and we connect users with third party contractors. We are not a contractor. We do not perform, supervise, inspect, manage or warrant any work of any kind, and we hold no contractor licence in any state.
2. No professional advice
Everything on this site is general information. It is not legal, insurance, engineering, medical or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for advice about your specific property or situation. Do not rely on it as your only basis for a decision involving money, safety or a legal right.
3. Cost information
Cost figures are national published ranges taken from the sources named and linked on each page, as at the date shown. They are not quotes, estimates or price guarantees, and your actual price will depend on your property, your location, your scope and market conditions. Sources sometimes disagree and sometimes go out of date.
4. Referrals and your contract
Any agreement for work is between you and the contractor. We are not a party to it. We do not guarantee any contractor's licensing status at the time you hire, their insurance, their availability, their pricing, their workmanship, their timeliness, or the outcome of any job. Our contractor standard is described at How we choose, including its limits. You should verify a contractor's licence and insurance yourself before you hire, and every service page tells you how.
5. How we are paid
BestHonestPro is a free comparison resource, not a contractor. There is nothing to sign up for and we do not sell your details. When we begin connecting callers to contractors, we will be paid a referral fee by the contractor, never by you, and this line will say so.
6. Calls
Calls placed from this site are routed through call tracking infrastructure and may be recorded by the receiving contractor or network, as described in our Privacy Policy. By calling, you consent to that routing. Standard carrier charges may apply.
7. Emergencies
This site is not an emergency service. If there is a fire, a gas leak, a live electrical hazard, a structural collapse risk or any risk to a person, contact the emergency services or your utility company first.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from work performed or not performed by any contractor, from reliance on cost information, or from your use of this site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Acceptable use
Do not scrape, copy or republish this site's content commercially, misuse the telephone numbers, or submit false complaints.
10. Changes and contact
We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions: [email protected]
