Both Florida offices hold state plumbing licences, carry an A- BBB grade and have no BBB complaints. They are also very new, opened in 2025, so there is little public record to judge them by. It publishes no prices, and 24/7 service depends on the location, so ask before you rely on it at night. For any big job, get a second written quote from an established licensed local plumber.

What bluefrog Plumbing + Drain is

bluefrog Plumbing + Drain is a plumbing franchise that started in Texas in the mid-2010s (sources give 2013 or 2014). Its parent is Stellar Service Brands of Dallas, which also owns Restoration 1. Private equity firms MPK Equity Partners and Princeton Equity Group invested in April 2020, and MPK still lists Stellar as a current holding.

The counts do not agree. Entrepreneur lists 42 units, Franchise Grade says 43 or more, and the brand's own locator shows 23 locations in 11 states when checked. The locator number is what you can actually call today.

Every location is a franchise. The brand's own site says each location is locally owned and operated, and that licence details may vary by location. The business that comes to your house is the local owner.

What bluefrog charges

bluefrog does not publish a price list, and we found no cost guide that reports bluefrog prices. Its Florida office pages advertise a free diagnostic and upfront pricing, and a $99 a year membership plan with priority scheduling. The national figures below describe plumbers in general, not bluefrog.

After hours. A 2017 announcement for bluefrog's first Florida franchise described 24/7 service with no overtime charges. The brand's current site only says service availability may vary by location, and we found no current statement on night rates. Ask on the phone before anyone is sent.

bluefrog in Florida

Florida presence is thin. The brand's locator lists two Florida offices:

Boynton Beach (Palm Beach County) serves Boynton Beach, Delray Beach, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach and Lake Worth Beach. Its page advertises 24/7 emergency service, though a review platform lists weekday hours. Its BBB file shows business started April 2025 and Florida plumbing licence CFC1431568, listed to August 2028.

Brandon (Riverview address) serves Riverview, Brandon, Valrico, Gibsonton and parts of Tampa. Its page lists Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm. Its BBB file shows business started July 2025 and licence CFC1433844, with an expiry date of 31 Aug 2026 shown. That date has passed, so check the DBPR site for a renewal.

An earlier Fort Lauderdale franchise, based in Deerfield Beach, opened in 2017 and no longer appears on the locator. Orlando, Jacksonville, Miami, Fort Myers and the Panhandle have no bluefrog office. We have not checked these licence numbers with the Florida DBPR, so treat them as shown, not verified.

The record, read fairly

Both Florida offices are young, and a clean file on a young business says less than a clean file on an old one. When checked, each had an A- BBB grade, was accredited in May 2026 and had no complaints. On Birdeye, a platform that businesses use to collect their own reviews, the Boynton Beach office shows an average of 4.9 of 5 across 57 reviews.

Who it suits, and who should compare

A good fit: a leak, drain or water heater problem in the Boynton Beach or Brandon service area that can wait for a weekday visit, when you want a free diagnostic and a price before work starts.
